Winner of the 2022 Good Food Awards, Diaspora Co.'s Cacao Powder is organically grown on a family farm at the base of the Western Ghats. It's minimally processed meaning it's rich in all its naturally occurring nutrients and antioxidants. The cacao is intercropped with nutmeg and coconut palms, on land that was originally a eucalyptus grove, then a guava orchard and now a diverse ecosystem where desi cows roam by day and elephants scratch their backs on the coconut palms by night! 

Founded in 2017 by Sana Javeri Kadri, Diaspora Co. is a direct trade, single-origin spice company dedicated to building a better spice trade. They put money, equity and power into the hands of Indian farmers to disrupt and decolonize an outdated commodity spice trading system.
