About the maker: As a young girl living in Guyana, designer Soyini George was inspired by her seamstress Great Aunt + by the color, texture and patterns of her vibrant garden. That was just the beginning of her love for design, which inspired her to launch her line of handmade children’s clothing and accessories, Yinibini Baby. Her designs are hand-sewn and screen-printed on organic cotton fabrics right here in DC, and each original design is inspired by nostalgia from her life.
